Subashnee Moodley is the current Managing Director and Chair at Attorneys Livingston Leandy Inc. Subashnee holds BA and LLB degrees from the University of KwaZulu Natal.

On completion of her LLB degree, Subashnee was selected, through the Integrated Bar Project, to complete a brief internship at the Constitutional Court under the supervision of the now-late Justice Madala. Following this internship, she commenced articles at
Livingston Leandy (LLI) in the year 2000 and swiftly moved up the ranks in a firm whose history goes back more than 135 years. Subashnee is a member of the Black Lawyers Association and the Women’s Property Network. She is also an active member of the KwaZulu Natal chapter of the South African Institute of Black Property Practitioners (SAIBPP). Subashnee also serves on the national board of SAIBPP and is the current Co-chair of SAIBPP KZN. SAIBPP is an organization that encourages inclusive growth, broad-based participation, and transformation in the patterns of ownership and control in the property sector so that it is more representative of the demographics of South
Africa.

Subashnee is a member of Business Engage and the 30% Club, an organization which drives both the private sector and government to achieve greater diversity in their organisations and to recognize and implement best practices in gender mainstreaming.

In addition, Subashnee is a Director of The Woza Leadership Academy and is actively involved in Woza Women In Law. Subashnee’s passion to mentor, develop and encourage gender parity goes hand in hand with Woza’s mission to upskill, empower, elevate and recognize excellence in the legal sector.
