I’m both a financial crime professional and a former victim of the system’s blind spots, now working from the inside to improve it.
With over a decade of experience in risk, regulation, research, and compliance solutions, I bring a global perspective shaped by work across continents – and a relentless focus on building safer, more transparent systems.
My path into this space is deeply personal.
At six years old, I became the owner of companies I didn’t create. I grew up dealing with debt, collections, and judgments tied to an identity that had been abused. My journey to reclaim my name is featured in One in Fifty documentary, officially nominated at the Indy Shorts International Film Festival 2025 and HollyShorts Film Festival 2025.
Today, I use both my lived experience and professional expertise to drive change.
I am the co-creator of Children Without Debt, a growing community supporting adults whose identities were abused in childhood – now with over 200 members. My advocacy in Brazil has also contributed to a law reform proposal that, for the first time, seeks to recognize child identity theft as financial abuse under Brazilian law.
I speak, build, and advocate for a more human-centered approach to financial crime: one that protects not just systems, but people.
