I am Senior Executive with 25 years of leadership experience in the Banking, Petrochemical, Government Social Housing sectors and Management Consulting.
Throughout my tenure in these sectors (both private and public), I have become skilled and experienced in providing strategic guidance, programme implementation and monitoring, policy development and execution, managing teams, create and maintain budgets, reporting, collaboration with multiple stakeholders (internally and externally) and relationship building.
My expertise areas are in Diversity and Inclusion (specializing in Gender Equality), Culture Transformation, Change Management, Risk and Governance, Project Management, Corporate Social Responsibility, Stakeholder Relations Management and General Management. I have a BA and BA(Honours) degree from the University of Cape Town and have recently completed my Masters degree in Critical Diversity Studies with the University of the Witwatersrand (Research Study in – Gender Discrimination in the Workplace). I have worked and led a multitude of cross cultural projects in Africa (10 countries) at Barclays Africa Bank and Sasol Petrochemical Company.
I have a proven leadership ability to; develop and execute strategy; manage, coordinate, motivate and lead teams to produce results; produce bottom-line savings through optimizing resources; raise the profile and reputation of my organisation in the work I do. I have also been recognised by my employers for my ability to
oversee successful initiative launches and projects from beginning to end examples being when I was tasked to establish new divisions (Absa Culture transformation function; and Northwest Housing Education and Communications division)
