Luresha Chetty is currently the Group Investor Relations Executive at Aspen Pharmacare in Durban, South Africa and is responsible for the development and implementation of the investor relations strategy and communication with sell-side analysts and buy-side investors across the world. Prior to her current role, she was based in Johannesburg at the Standard Bank Group, where she spent 12 years working in Global Markets. Her experience at Standard Bank includes her time as a Sales Trader and Structurer at the Equity Derivatives desk and a sell-side research analyst at SBG Securities (a wholly owned subsidiary of Standard Bank) where she produced investment research. During her seven-year career on the sell-side, she was responsible for or co-owned coverage of many South African JSE-listed corporates across the Construction, Diversified Industrials and Healthcare Services sectors and appeared on the Financial Mail, Ranking the Analysts. The specialised knowledge and technical skills learned as a trader and sell-side analysts allows her an understanding of the challenges faced by investors. Luresha has a degree from the University of KwaZulu Natal in Economics and Business Finance (Hon) and is a CFA Level 3 candidate. Her spare time is spent with her family and dogs enjoying the outdoor activities Durban has to offer.
