Jaine is an award-winning professional with over 25 years’ experience within the Technology space.

Her professional journey includes notable leadership roles across Africa, whereby she developed strong skills in strategy development, team management, programme implementation and execution, project coordination as well as stakeholder relationship management.

Jaine was the winner of CIO of the Year Award 2020 at the East African CIO 100 Symposium and Awards and most recently, she was recognised amongst the Top 25 Most Impactful C-Suit Executives Leading Business with an Edge 2025 by The Knowledge Warehouse Kenya.

Her work in diversity and inclusion was recognised at the 2024 Gender Mainstreaming Awards, where she received the award for Positive Role Model in East Africa.

Globally, she has featured in the Yahoo Finance 2021 HERoes Women Role Model Lists that showcases leaders who are championing women in business and driving change for gender diversity in the workplace.

Since 2023, she has been on the @iLabAfrica CIO Leadership Programme Advisory Board

Jaine has a bachelor’s degree in management economics from the University of Guelph, Ontario and a Graduate Diploma in Public Accounting from McGill University, Montreal Quebec.

She has certification in Digital Transformation Strategy from the Yale School of Management and Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy from the MIT Sloan School of Management

She is a graduate of the Female Future Leadership Development Program by Federation of Kenya Employers (FKE).

She enjoys travelling and meeting new people, spending time with friends and family, wining and dining – trying out new restaurants, attending music concerts and plays, working out, reading and doing puzzles.
