Erica Terblanche is a Positive Psychologist with 20 years in business and organisational change at C-suite level. She has an MBA, a degree in Psychology, a Masters in Positive Psychology, and a B.Sc. Cadastral Surveying. She is also a CTI certified life coach and a ORSC system and relationship coach and a Barrett’s Values Practitioner.
Erica is a well known motivational speaker, and radio and TV personality on the science of thriving, and has her own YouTube channel to bring the public the latest insights on how to live optimally.
She is the founder of two businesses, Thrive Guru, based in Cape Town and Teach a Girl to Fish based in Greece, both businesses helping people to thrive.
To add spice to her deep knowledge on human wellness and optimal performance Erica is an international endurance athlete and has won some of the world’s toughest , multi-day running races for example the gruelling 270km in the Sahara Desert. She was also for many years South Africa’s top female adventure racer and represented her country at the Adventure Racing World Champs in New Zealand.
Erica is a best-selling author and her book RUN for the Love of Life has gathered a cult following.
Apart from her sporting and academic achievements, Erica is a firm believer in giving back. She an is an expert in strategic sustainability and helps businesses to increase shareholder value through helping solve society’s most difficult problems. In her parr time she is a trustee for the UK Values Foundation and runs a pro-bono Couch to 10km program that has helped many people ftom a sedentary existence to a lifelong running practice.
