Doreen is currently the Chief Audit Officer for Standard Bank Group, the first female appointed in the role. Doreen’s career has spanned in internal audit and external audit having worked in various entities including Barclays Bank, PricewaterhouseCoopers London UK in the Banking & Capital Markets Business Unit, and PricewaterhouseCoopers Uganda.

Doreen has a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Bradford University School of Management UK and a BSc (Hons) Electrical Engineering. She is a Fellow of Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (FCCA), a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).

She is also a member of Institute of Internal Auditors Global and South Africa, of Institute of Certified Public Accountants Uganda (ICPAU) and of Institute of Certified Public Accountants Kenya (ICPAK). She is a certified coach.

Doreen is married, and is a mother of 4 children.
