As Managing Director of Dynamic Talent, Candice describes her position as “leading a team of some of the best tech recruiters in the country, to deliver a high-quality, unbeatably cost-effective and efficient talent acquisition offering!’” She is responsible for the strategic direction, growth and sustainability of the business, the leadership of the team, and several key client accounts.

Previously Candice headed up and grew the talent acquisition function for a software business (previously CaseWare Africa, now part of AdaptIT), and supported the Emirates team in the establishment of an internal executive search function. Recent successes include leadership development training sessions she did for the African Management Institute, as well as developing a very successful program in careers in sustainable development for an international company focused on promoting conservation and global citizenship. Being a Finalist in the LinkedIn Top Social Recruiter Awards 2016; and Winner of a Go Beyond Award at CaseWare Africa attest to her professional accomplishments.

Candice holds an Honour’s Degree in Psychology and places honesty, transparency and solid ethics above all: “For me, integrity is doing what you said you were going to do, when you said you were going to do it, in the manner in which you said you would do it”. She adds that her client relationships are built on trust AND delivery. “You can’t have one without the other.” She values human-centred approaches to leadership and business growth and continually seeks ways to improve on this: “It is important to me that every person that interacts with our business is treated with kindness and respect.” Efficiency is important to her and she provides her team with headhunting tools, tips & tricks: “I love being a part of my team’s journey in their personal and professional growth.

Candice is a deeply committed Christian and is always guided by this moral compass. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her husband, family and her two beautiful dogs. Her probono work as a registered counsellor and soon-to-be qualified yoga therapist reflects her ethics and is exemplary of the leadership development she teaches others. She adds that “one hashtag sums me up best: #stubbornoptimist”. Candice is an authentic, grounded speaker who has the ability to create a personal bond with an audience. Her areas of expertise include Human Resources; Strategic Recruitment; Career Path Design; Inspiring and Motivating Teams; Skills Shortages in ICT; Remote Working Models; Leadership Development; Performance Management; Mindfulness; Self-Growth and Self-Realisation.
