André du Toit is the Western Cape Chair of Business Engage and a judge for the Gender Mainstreaming Awards. He is a professional speaker, executive communication coach and CEO of High Impact Public Speaking.

Before entering professional speaking in 2004, André built a successful corporate career across insurance, reinsurance and information technology, culminating in a five-year term as CEO of an international reinsurance company. Today, he works with executives and organisations to strengthen communication, confidence and leadership presence.

Through Business Engage, André helps bring leaders together around inclusive workplaces and the meaningful advancement of women in business. His judging approach is grounded in executive experience, careful listening and a belief that recognition should reward genuine, measurable progress.

Known as ‘The Big Positive Guy’, André is also the founder of Good News South Africa and is actively involved in Rotary and the BraveHeart breakfast initiative, which raises support for women facing difficult circumstances.
