Dream: Growing up in the townships yet being schooled in an affluent area exposed me to both sides of the coin and gave me the scope to dream big. I have followed those dreams and don’t ever want to stop.
Live: I strive to be fully present in my life and to truly live the moment. It’s great to dream, but if you’re always just imagining the future, you’re missing out on the now.
Share: Sharing my life with family and friends, and sharing my knowledge and experiences with those it could make a difference to is what motivates me on a daily basis.
I have spent most of my career to date in the FMCG sector and also have experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
I have over 20 years experience in finance of which ~10 have been in executive leadership roles. I’m currently with Unilever leading the finance organization and contributing to the sustainable growth of brands with purpose in Africa through teams that thrive as a member of the Africa leadership team and executive director of Unilever South (Pty) Ltd.
I strive to be a cultural architect, leading for equality, diversity and inclusion. I lead for sustainable, purpose led growth, enabled by digital and a thriving team. I push myself and my team to learn and grow everyday and believe that anything is possible if you put your mind to it.
I’m a daughter, sister and proud mom of two inspirational kids. I’m also qualified as a CIMA Fellow and hold a B Com degree with Unisa.
