Lizelle is an experienced financial services professional. Her career spans 29 years and started at PWC Paarl, Western Cape where she completed her articles and qualified as a chartered accountant. Lizelle lectured at the University of Stellenbosch and then she was lured to the bright city lights of Johannesburg in 1999. Lizelle is energized by creating new functions or businesses and has often been involved in such initiatives. She held leadership roles at ING and Citibank South Africa, and she joined RMB in May 2013. Lizelle is Head of Treasury and Trade Solution at RMB Johannesburg where she leads a business that offers corporate and institutional clients daily banking and working capital solutions, across all RMB’s jurisdictions.

Lizelle is a dynamic leader who is passionate about the role of leadership in creating environments where everyone can contribute their unique skills and thrive. Interested in the topic of change leadership, Lizelle pursued and was accredited as a coach in 2022.

Lizelle grew up on a farm in the Western Cape and although she often yearns for the sound of the ocean, she has loved every minute of Johannesburg’s vibrant diversity over the last 24 years.
