A diagnosis at birth of cystic fibrosis has never limited Jason. He has used CF to motivate himself to achieve the highest levels in one of the most physical and demanding of sports being cycling.
Despite his condition, Jason has become the first cyclist in the world to complete the Cape Epic, notoriously the toughest cycling race in the world, as well as a sub 3 hour Cape Town Cycle Tour.
This year Jason and broke the CF world record by cycling the height of Everest in one day, an achievement almost regarded as impossible.

Born with Cystic Fibrosis, Jason’s parents never shared with him that his life expectancy was only 10 years. Jason discovered that extreme exercise could substitute hours of daily physiotherapy.
Today, Jason is an extreme athlete with a mind set of being a victor not a victim, and is the cystic fibrosis Everesting world record holder.
